Job Title: Plumber / Warehouse Worker
We are looking for an experience plumber / warehouse associate to join our dynamic team!
Purpose: Completes shipments by processing and loading orders.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Must have a minimum of 1-2+ years of professional experience in plumbing.
- Experience working in a warehouse / operating a forklift but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in warehouse and construction environments.
- Basic understanding of plumbing tools, materials, and techniques.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for vehicle operation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to comply with safety regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Duties:
- Manage plumbing material inventory and ensure accurate stock levels.
- Prepare orders by processing requests and pulling materials for delivery or installation.
- Pack boxes, place orders in the delivery area, and ensure timely dispatch.
- Drive company vehicles to complete deliveries and vendor pickups.
- Perform routine maintenance on company vehicles and schedule necessary repairs.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness in the warehouse, pallet areas, and workstations.
- Comply with company safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Assist with inventory control through accurate tracking and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with management and team members to optimize workflow.
Plumber Helper Duties (New Construction):
- Support the installation of pipes, fixtures, and drainage systems for water, gas, steam, air, or other liquids.
- Help install supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation.
- Assemble fittings, valves, tubing, and pipe sections using appropriate tools and methods (e.g., couplings, clamps, cement, soldering, brazing, welding).
- Modify the length of pipes and fixtures as needed using saws and pipe cutters.
- Ensure installations, repairs, and maintenance meet proper sizing, alignment, and safety standards.
- Assist with the installation of water heaters, heating, and air-conditioning systems.
- Support leak testing and troubleshooting of plumbing systems.
- Select plumbing materials based on project specifications and budget.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety standards, building codes, and company policies.
- Document issues, repairs, and maintenance activities for management review.
- Occasionally perform service and warranty work as needed.
- Conduct inspections to identify worn parts and recommend necessary replacements.
- Report to supervisors and management in a professional and timely manner.
