Plumbing Design Engineer - Healthcare
General Responsibilities
Pre-Design Engineering
Review existing as-built drawings.
Perform field investigations.
Set up drawings and models for multiple disciplines.
Collaborate with team members regarding design coordination, schedules, and deliverables.
Perform feasibility studies.
Prepare schematic designs.
Design Complexity
Performs routine engineering work applying standard techniques. Performs basic engineering calculations.
Prepares construction estimates and specifications for small size projects.
Can independently create small reports.
Construction Administration
Review submittals
Position Requirements
Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or similar
Working Knowledge
California Plumbing Code
Plumbing Code
California Energy Code
HCAi codes and standards ()
NFPA-99
Microsoft Office Suite
Bluebeam
Revit
AutoCAD a plus
