Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pump Plumbing Mechanic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of pumps, plumbing systems, and related equipment. This role requires a thorough understanding of plumbing principles, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain various types of pumps, including centrifugal, submersible, and booster pumps.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose pump and plumbing system issues to identify root causes and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and longevity of pumps and plumbing systems, repair and replace plumbing fixtures, pipes, valves as needed.
  • Test and calibrate pumps to ensure proper operation and efficiency.
  • Detect and repair leaks in Plumbing systems, conduct pressure test and leak checks to ensure plumbing systems meet regulatory standards and safety requirements.
  • Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, parts and installation teams.
  • Keep your truck inventory up to date.
  • Properly complete paperwork.
  • Join the on-call rotation.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
  • Have and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Participate in training allows you to grow and develop as a professional.
  • Have or be willing to get the proper certifications. We can help you with this.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program or vocational training .
  • Proven experience as a pump plumber, plumbing mechanic, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, pumps, and related equipment.
  • Proficiency in using plumbing tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
