Plumbing Superintendent - Mechanical Contractor

1. Licensed plumber for the State of Texas, minimum journeyman license, medical gas certification is not required, but helpful.

2. Five years minimum experience running $5 million to $50 million commercial HVAC and Plumbing work. A list of projects completed, size of project ($ volume), number of men supervised, and companies worked for will be required.

3. Knowledge of all aspects of commercial plumbing, heating, ventilating, and air conditioning is required. Note any experience in geothermal, if any.

4. Safety trained per OSHA requirements. OSHA 30-Hour certification. Must be familiar with OSHA standards and regulations and able to prove training and experience to be considered a competent person on the site.

5. Proficient in reading plans and specifications. Note any experience in ProCore or Plan Grid, if any.

6. A leader that can manage people, but will still work with their tools when necessary, depending on the size of the project.

7. Attend site coordination meetings and coordinate Century Mechanical’s subcontractors.

8. Ability to lay out the necessary work and supplies for each employee, every day, as needed. Work with the project manager to secure materials and employees required to complete the project.

9. Record payroll for all site employees and turn it in weekly. Record daily log book of site activities.
