ATTENTION PLUMBERS, PLUMBERS' HELPERS, PLUMBING APPRECTICES: Water-Pro has an immediate opening for a Service Technician / Sales / Installer position. Responsibilities include: Repairing and/or replacing well water pumps, pressure switches, pressure tanks, and PVC plumbing, mostly outdoors. As you gain more knowledge and experience, you would also be meeting with potential or existing residential or commercial customers to determine their specific water treatment needs, recommending the appropriate equipment, completing the installation, and providing customer support after the sale. YOU DO NOT NEED TO HOLD A PLUMBING LICENSE FOR THIS POSITION.
Previous experience in the water-treatment industry desired, but will train the right person. If you have plumbing experience with PVC and basic electrical knowledge and know the difference between 120V and 240V, and would like to further your career, this position may be for YOU! This position will require the ability to install, diagnose, repair, or replace, as appropriate: well water pumps, pressure tanks, and related accessories, water softeners & filters, and reverse osmosis systems. Ability to lift heavy items 60+ lbs. on occasion, be a team player, have a neat, clean appearance, and excellent communication & customer service skills a must. You will be expected to be "on-call" on a rotating basis for evening/weekend emergency service. (You will not be expected to work outdoors after sundown for safety purposes. In many cases, a conversation over the phone with the customer can resolve the issue temporarily to get the customer back in water). All applicants will be subject to a criminal background check and be required to possess a Florida driver's license with a CLEAN driving record.
