PMC - Telecom Engineer-Abu Dhabi UAE

Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and detailoriented  PMC Telecom Engineer  to support the design installation and management of telecommunications systems for a major Oil & Gas pipeline construction project in Abu Dhabi. The Telecom Engineer will ensure that all telecom systems meet project specifications international standards and operational requirements while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless integration and optimal performance. Key Responsibilities Design review and manage telecommunications systems including data voice and video communication networks to meet project requirements and standards. Prepare and review technical specifications system architecture and design documents for telecom systems. Ensure integration of telecom systems with other project components including SCADA and instrumentation systems. Support the procurement and selection of telecom equipment ensuring compliance with technical requirements and project standards. Monitor contractor and subcontractor activities related to telecom system installation and commissioning ensuring quality and adherence to timelines. Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and commissioning of telecom systems. Address technical queries (TQ) and implement approved changes to telecom designs and systems. Prepare technical reports progress updates and documentation for project stakeholders. Ensure compliance with HSE standards in all telecom engineering activities. Stay updated on advancements in telecom technologies and apply industry best practices to project activities. Additional Information : Education:  Bachelors degree in Telecommunications Electronics or Electrical Engineering or a related field. Experience: 710 years of experience in telecom engineering with a focus on Oil & Gas or pipeline construction projects. Experience in a PMC environment is preferred. Skills: Proficiency in telecom system design and analysis tools. Strong knowledge of international telecom standards and codes (e.g. IEC ITU TIA). Familiarity with SCADA systems fiber optics and wireless communication technologies. Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork and stakeholder engagement. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic project environment.
