Role Purpose

 

NEOM is seeking a highly motivated and experienced PMO Manager to join the Ground X team, a team responsible for delivering a mandate to document NEOM’s progress. Leveraging technology and data, the team creates digital products and platforms to enable seamless monitoring of progress and management of NEOM’s digital assets. ​

 

We are seeking a PMO Manager to help manage and facilitate Ground X projects contracts and progress. Working alongside projects/product managers, this person will manage our growing portfolio of Progress Monitoring Products and Operations. This involves but not limited to maintaining contracts budgets and deliverables, tracking projects progress, enhancing governance and procedures, and reporting performance and KPIs.

 

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES

 

 

CONTRACTS & FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

  • Manage Ground X related procurement activities, including budget framework development and utilization, process PRs and projects invoices, and procurement disputes and escalations.
  • Monitor and maintain contract compliance and vendor engagements over the lifecycle of each project, consolidating contract-related data, tracking deliverables, and financial administration.
  • Develop and maintain project cost, includes identifying and tracking budget variances, assisting with budget development efforts, and producing financial reports and budget outlines.

 

PROJECTS MONITORING & GOVERNANCE

  • Establish project/program governance structure to track progress on deliverables, planning, resources, finance, and quality.
  • Establish and maintain projects toolkit including standards, templates, and procedure to foster consistency and adherence.
  • Evaluate procedures and advise improvements based on benchmark and best practices.
  • Identify, categorize, evaluate, and control potential risk areas that may influence the project objectives over the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with project managers on project-related initiatives, meeting regularly to review project status, identify issues and resolution, and maintain project plans.
  • Develop and manage Ground X Metrics and KPIs and maintain regular reviews with internal teams to evaluate performance and support when necessary.
  • Design and maintain dashboards using project management tools.
  • Lead and manage weekly progress meetings.
  • Review and optimize Ground X processes and recommend any continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Experience working with diverse people and driving the team toward a common goal. An ability to put the team before yourself and establish long-lasting relationships.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years industry experience working in PMOs or projects management
