Pool Service Technician

Quiet Village Landscaping is looking for an experienced Pool Service Technician to join our team!


Overview: The Pool Service Technician will maintain certain standards of water quality by adding chemicals such as chlorine, iodine, and hydrochloric acid to the water. Duties include but are not limited to: cleaning pools through brushing and vacuuming, responding to water hygiene incidents, cleaning filters, performing water cleaning, running tests, servicing pool systems, and reporting water quality. In the off-season, we have opportunities for you to continue work full-time if desired including leaf clean-ups and snow removal.


Skill Set & Educational Requirements:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
  • Valid drivers license and must be insurable on the company's insurance policy with a clean criminal record
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Able and willing to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner on a daily basis
  • Physical demands require constantly moving, walking, stooping, kneeling, twisting, crouching or crawling. Job will require constantly working outdoors in all types of weather conditions and exposure to elements.
  • Frequently required to stand and walk, lift and/or move up to 75 lbs. without assistance
  • Must be 18 years of or older (required)
  • Must be able to swim (required)
  • 3+ years experience (required)


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Brushing waterline tile, walls, steps and benches
  • Skim & remove all debris from the water, vacuum pools (as needed)
  • Empty all baskets or debris (pump, skimmer, leaf traps and canisters)
  • Test and balance water chemistry at each body of water as needed (pool, spa, fountains, etc.)
  • Backwash filters (sand and DE)
  • Schedule and/or cancel services
  • Ability to utilize our CRM to enter and close completed customer jobs
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor
