The role involves scheduling, coordinating, and managing onsite service and maintenance of large-scale solar assets. Responsibilities and duties Reporting to the Service Team Leader, you will:\n\nPrepare and manage schedules - Plan weekly engineer schedules to ensure contractual obligations for preventive and corrective maintenance are met.\nCoordinate call-outs - Assess monitoring alerts daily and organise field engineers to meet response time guarantees.\nContract management - Ensure all operation and maintenance agreements are fulfilled.\nBudget management - Create and manage budgets for minor construction projects, corrective maintenance, and site improvements.\nWork order management - Create and manage work tickets for engineers, ensuring all necessary details for reporting and follow-ups.\nReporting - Prepare monthly technical reports on asset performance, warranty claims, and insurance claims.\nClient liaison - Communicate with clients, create quotes, and arrange site activities with internal and external resources.\n\nProfessional qualifications\n We are looking for someone with the following:\n\nExperience in the photovoltaic (PV) industry or a similar role.\nProficiency in MS Office tools.\nKnowledge of PV monitoring systems.\nUnderstanding of HSE and CDM regulations.\n\nPersonal skills\n The Portfolio Manager role would suit someone who is:\n\nHighly organised with strong problem-solving skills.\nDetail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.\nA strong communicator, able to liaise with clients and technical teams.\nPassionate about renewable energy and high-quality service delivery.\n\nSalary and benefits of the Portfolio Manager role\n\nSalary: £37,000 - £39,000\n25 days of annual leave plus Bank Holidays\nBonus and incentive schemes\nExtensive learning and development programme\nPension scheme\nGreat company culture and regular social events\nWellness initiatives, including weekly mindfulness break\n\nINDREN\n\nAstute People are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
