Portfolio Sr. Systems Engineer
Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe have a rare opportunity for a conscientious Senior Systems Engineer in the U.S. Navy Cybersecurity Program Office's Special Projects organization, supporting the System-of-Systems (SoS) Lead Engineer and Lead Capability Integrator (LCI) in monitoring and managing multiple cyber systems design activities toward integration and delivery of a secure SoS capability.
The Portfolio Senior Systems Engineer will coordinate the activities of multiple projects, multiple design activities, and stakeholders in order to execute combined integration and end-to-end testing and capability delivery.
Principal Responsibilities:
· Develop system of systems project schedules· Provide input to the joint Integration Master Schedule· Provide guidance to multiple teams across the portfolio· Work across functions with peers in other groups to ensure collaboration for shared portfolio goals· Coordinate engineering design reviews· Maintain situational awareness across all assigned projects and design activities· Identify and develop Risks/Issues/Opportunities during project execution· Ensure the LCI is aware of the status of all projects and design activities
Skills:Proficient in:· DoD System Development Life Cycle· Engineering Change Management· Scope Management· Able to develop and present artifacts to leadership· Able to read and understand technical documentation and drawings· Project Management fundamentals· Microsoft products including Windows, Office, Project· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community· Multi-tasking· Technical WritingFamiliar with:· Integrating product from multiple program offices· Cybersecurity capabilities and fundamentals· Digital Engineering and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Work Environment:· Work to be performed at NAVWAR OTC classified space
Additional Selection Criteria:
- Must possess a Top Secret with Special Compartmented Information (TS/SCI).Clearance
