Power and Performance Lead Engineer.
What you do at AMD changes everything At AMD, we push the boundaries of what is possible. We believe in changing the world for the better by driving innovation in high-performance computing, graphics, and visualization technologies – building blocks for gaming, immersive platforms, and the data center. Developing great technology takes more than talent: it takes amazing people who understand collaboration, respect, and who will go the “extra mile” to achieve unthinkable results. It takes people who have the passion and desire to disrupt the status quo, push boundaries, deliver innovation, and change the world. If you have this type of passion, we invite you to take a look at the opportunities available to come join our team. Power and Performance Lead Engineer - 177423 THE ROLE As AMD grows, growing our leadership in systems engineering expertise is essential for all the new products in the AMD pipeline. We supply semiconductors, high-performance computing, graphics, and visualization technologies for PC, gaming, and data center industries. As the product lead engineer you will be expected to lead technical experts internally and externally, to guide complex products from end to end from design to delivery. The role requires an unusual mix of technical breadth, problem solving, and soft skills. It’s not for the overly introverted. It is for the ambitious engineer who appreciates having a high-visibility role and making an impact. Each week brings new challenges. Your ability to solve problems and to inspire others to solve problems matters to the whole organization as well as to the industry. The systems power and performance lead engineer is a cross-functional technical leader. Successful power and performance engineers drive technical decisions and maintain an even keel. You will need to learn as you go and mentor along the way as well.
