Power BI Analyst - 12 Months - Inside IR35

Job Description

Global IT Solutions Company requires a suitably experienced Power BI Analyst for their established client based in Central London.

This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying business analytics dashboards using Microsoft BI technologies such as Power BI, SQL, Power Automate, and Flow.

Location: Hybrid - Remote Working / London 2 / 3 days a month

Contract Length: 12 Months

Day rate: Negotiable Day Rate - Inside IR35

Key responsibilities

● Support the Marketing and Marketing and Communications Agency leadership and stakeholders with management information and business information reporting requirements.

● Develop automated dashboards and reports around marketing campaign and communications activities using Power BI and other reporting tools, closely aligned with the Design System for user experience.

● Connect, and import data from our data sources and platforms, including Google products, Microsoft products, Salesforce, and more, to provide comprehensive and well informed dashboards for the business leadership.

● Understand business requirements to set functional specifications for reporting applications.

● Work with our central data lake team to ensure that our data is available, connected, up to date, and available as a single source of truth to the business.

● Document the approach and process taken to connect sources, manage data, and build reports and dashboards.

● Make recommendations on efficient processes, standards, and formatting for management reporting. Other duties We might ask you to perform other tasks and duties as your role expands.

Your skills, experience, and qualifications Required

● BSc or MSc in computer science or information system along with work experience in a related field.

● Three or more years of experience with Power BI.

● Three or more years of experience in data preparation, data gateway, and data warehousing projects.

● Three or more years of experience working with the Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack (Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS).

● Understanding of Python, JavaScript, CSS, SQL, and other JavaScript libraries. Preferred

● Be experienced in tools and systems on MS SQL Server BI Stack, including SSRS and TSQL, Power Query, MDX, PowerBI, and DAX.

● Familiarity with platforms such as Salesforce, Google Analytics, and other leading marketing automation tech platforms.

● Be able to quickly shape data into reporting and analytics solutions.
