Power BI and SQL Developer
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Power BI & SQL Developer to join our specialist team at tmgroup, where you'll play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing our database platforms.
About the Role
In this interesting and varied role you will work closely with multiple departments across the business, from development teams to senior executives, finance, sales, and client services, ensuring that visualisation, dashboards and reporting meet the highest standards of quality and integrity utilising Power BI.
As part of our Data team, you’ll own critical processes, delivering development environments to agile scrum teams and actively contributing to planning and design meetings. You’ll be responsible a times for creating robust SQL code that aligns with business requirements, while also working on database performance tuning, query optimisation, and issue resolution to ensure uninterrupted services for our customers.
Your role will also involve collaborating with stakeholders to translate reporting needs into actionable insights through PowerBI, helping the business make informed decisions. Additionally, you’ll take charge of automating production processes and maintaining continuous integration environments for project teams.
About You
To thrive in this role, you should have a strong command of Power BI and SQL with a solid understanding of relational databases, performance tuning, along with PowerBI report development.
We value team players who work well under pressure, can multitask, and manage their own priorities while maintaining a high attention to detail. Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills are essential, as well as the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
