Power Electronics, Integration and Verification -SPG
Key Qualifications5+ or more years of mixed-signal and power electronics integration and verification experience (AC/DC, DC/DC & DC/AC) with a proven track record of successful execution of complex projectsCapability to translate high-level requirements and design specifications into robust comprehensive test plans. Architect and drive development of testing setups for executionExperience with high-voltage (up to 1kV) and high-power (1-100kW+) equipment and systems is extremely beneficialAbility to debug software/hardware interfaces at the board and system level; comfort reading schematics and translating into functional behaviorIndependent and self motivated with strong analytical skills; ability to communicate clearly across skill-levels and skillsets, including presentation of critical issues and failures to management levelsDescriptionThe position has ownership over power converter verification plans, the commissioning of hardware with cross-functional teams (DV, REL, EMC, system), and the support for failure analysis investigations. Responsibilities follow along the development process including robust documentation, supporting the bring-up of manufacturing operations, end-of-line test definition, and defect escape resolution. The role also acts as a first responder for deployed power converters; leads and supports complex in-system debugging. A key contribution from this role is translation of operational outcomes and testing results into actionable feedback to design engineers, influencing specific corrections and enhancements.Education & ExperienceBSEE degree in Electrical Engineering.
