Are you an experienced Power Engineer passionate about maintaining seamless low-voltage power systems? We have the perfect opportunity for you!



As a Power Engineer, you'll install, operate, and maintain AC & DC low-voltage power systems, including UPS, environmental systems, BES, and security/fire alarm systems. Your role is crucial in ensuring uninterrupted operations.



Key Responsibilities:



Schedule and monitor vendor repairs for UPS, HVAC, motors, controls, plumbing, and generators.



Perform repair and maintenance of electrical systems.



Conduct corrective and preventive maintenance, including emergency support.



Resolve electrical and mechanical issues in data centre equipment.



Provide emergency cover on a rotational on-call basis.

Strong ownership and responsibility.



Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.



Effective verbal and written communication.



Adherence to safety guidelines and regulations.



Proficient with electrical systems, controls, and mechanical systems.



Ability to read technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.



Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.



Essential Qualifications:



3+ years’ experience with complex electrical systems.



5 GCSEs (or equivalent) – Grades A-C.



Electrical Technical Diploma, L3 NVQ & AM2.



City & Guilds 2382-22 Level 3 Award in Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671:2018.



Desirable Experience:



Data Centre or high-availability environment.



Understanding of UPS and power .



Experience with mechanical equipment maintenance.



LV Authorised Person experience.
