Power Supply Engineer

Every day, more than 80 000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.     Could you be the full-time  Power Supply Engineer  in  Ortigas, Philippines  we’re looking for?   Your future role: Power supply design (including deliverables listed in the Documentation Master List (DML), Bill of Material (BOM) and Failed Axle Testing (FAT) procedures) based on dimensioning specifications and/or calculations: Definition / calculation of power needs by level and type of voltages. Calculation of cable sizes according to the electrical regulations (applicable in the country of the projects) z Specification of the external performances with the aim of optimizing the global solution of the system, offering competitive advantages Identification of the principal interfaces that has to be controlled during the realization of a contract, consistency management. Industrial implementation   Analysis of the impacts/gaps of specific local standards Return of Experience and capitalization Processes deployment Contractors’ selection and validation of the contractor deliverables (including suppliers technical offers) Power Supply budget management (estimation and commitment in tender phase, expenses monitoring in project phase) Sustaining the Power Supply Reference Library.   All about you (Qualifications): Diploma in Advanced Technician or Diploma of Higher Education, up to Engineer in Electrical domain. Experience of principal architectures and components (including UPS and battery) and their use. Able to read and understand the electrical drawings (e.g. wirings) and associated mechanical drawings (e.g. Power supply cubicles). Capacity to find “just enough” solutions. Able to train others. Shares experience with others in his / her field of expertise, using Knowledge Management methodology and tool when available. Influence on the Unit/Business he/she belongs to.
