Powerhouse Maintenance Assistant Team Leader-Facilities-Skilled Trades 2nd Shift

Responsibilities:

• Direct team members to ensure planned output of product to satisfy customer expectations for quality and on-time delivery.
• Working position and knowledge of Powerhouse, Mechanical and Electrical is a must.
• Assist team members in trouble shooting and problem-solving Utilities in a manufacturing facility.
• Must be able to work in heights of 50ft high lift equipment and confined spaces.
• Lead, participate, promote, train, and coach others in continuous improvement and kaizen development, applying Toyota Production Systems methods.
• Collect analyze and evaluate information regarding problems in QCDSM performance.
• Identify potential risks in performance and develop and apply necessary countermeasures.
• Assign tasks and verify satisfactory execution, associated with the Preventative Maintenance program.
• Partner with associates to monitor daily maintenance of the facility in quality, cost, delivery, safety, and morale.
• Ensure standardized work is current, communicated, controlled, followed, and verified to meet established internal and external safety, quality, and cost standards.
• Comply with all company policies and rules.
• Schedule job rotations of associated within the department.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Journeyperson card or 5 years documented related experience in the trade with a background in Facilities equipment (boilers, air compressors, high voltage, water, air conditioning and HVAC systems) with mechanical and electrical skills a plus.
• Analytical, good written and verbal communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
