Hazen and Sawyer has an excellent opportunity for an experienced MicroStation Designer to join our company to work with project managers and engineers to produce contract documents for various Water, Wastewater, Pump Station, and Pipeline projects.

This position will lead the effort of coordinating the development of contract drawings with multiple disciplines, including the coordination of interdisciplinary interactions and the resolution of conflicts as well as the coordination of project deadlines, and standards adherence across project deliverables.

Position responsibilities will include:

• Developing base files and contract drawings
• Coordinate with other disciplines (Civil, Process Mechanical, Structural, Architectural, HVAC, Electrical, and I&C) to help resolve design conflicts and challenges.
• Ensure drawings comply with company and client CAD/BIM standards and styles
• Training/mentoring less experienced Designers

Minimum Requirements:

• 4-6 years of experience required.
• Proficiency with Bentley MicroStation is required.
• Experience with Bentley OpenRoads, OpenPlant, OpenBuildings, or Civil 3D is .
• Experience with ProjectWise is .
• Experience with Microsoft Office products is required.
• Experience leading and coordinating drawing production for small to medium sized projects.

Education Requirements:

• Relevant bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience — or an associate degree/technical certification and 6 years of experience.
