  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Robotics, or a related field. A master's or Ph.D. degree is preferred.
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in the design, development, and implementation of control systems for autonomous vehicles, with a strong understanding of perception, planning, and control algorithms.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing control system projects in the autonomous vehicle domain, including coordinating cross-functional teams and delivering projects on schedule.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex control system issues in autonomous vehicles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work in agile, fast-paced environments and adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations for autonomous vehicles, such as ISO 26262, SAE J3016, IEC61508, ISO13849 and NHTSA regulations.
  • Experience with digital networking protocols ideally CAN or Ethernet based systems.
  • Experience setting up and running Hardware-in-Loop (HiL) testing.
  • Experience with Data Acquisition software and hardware and control system Calibration tools.
  • Robotic or motion control systems software algorithm development.
  • Hydraulic or pneumatic systems design.
