Principal Infrastructure Engineer | HYBRID | Bath | Permanent | up to £65,000 DOE

This role offers you the opportunity to not only be hands on, but to be heavily involved in the designing of solutions with a clear clear career path into an Architectural role.

You will be working with leading edge technologies within the surveillance space.

We are looking for an experienced infrastructure engineer who has a strong knowledge within the networking space, across technologies such as, Virtualisation, Linux and SAN, data centre deployment and design and storage manipulation.

This role has a Hybrid working structure with the option for a few days a month in the office, or more if you would prefer. Furthermore there is also opportunity for international travel to exotic locations like Saudi Arabia and parts of Asia.

Experience Required:

• Experience in large data transfer over varying network architectures.
• Experience of wider datacentre infrastructure and network architecture components including firewalls, network switches, power systems/UPS and extending these designs to deploy in bespoke harsh environments as well as traditional datacenters.
• Experience in system resilience, back up solutions and scalability
• Substantial experience of working with third party suppliers to deliver systems and integrating sub-systems into the overall site.
