Principal Mechanical Engineer - Staff or Possibly Outside IR35 Contract – Nuclear – Salary + Benefit or Hourly Rate – Hybrid Working – 4 Day Working Week - Lancashire Our leading client operates within the nuclear sector, and they are seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer on a staff or contract (outside IR35) basis. You will actively lead and supervise engineering design teams in related discipline, providing technical direction and oversight in the execution of engineering activities, ensuring a compliant and safe design and achievement of quality standards. You will be working within a design office, there is also a manufacturing facility on site. You will also have the opportunity to work on prestigious projects for a leading nuclear based company. Material or mechanical handling project experience would be preferred. Support the Engineering Manager in the measurement and reporting of engineering activities against cost, schedule, quality and safety. Support the operations of the engineering portfolio and identify continuous improvement opportunities through the robust challenge of processes and procedures to achieve Excellence in Engineering.
