Principal Structural Engineer

Principal Structural Engineer for a leading consultancy based in Warrington. This opportunity requires a future leader who is seeking the chance to establish themselves with the prospect of growing their new Leeds office which has opened due to continue expansion and growth.The most suitable Principal Structural Engineer will gain experience with all aspects of the business which will include project delivery, business development, financial management and marketing. The projects may include Bridges, Rail, Temporary Works, and Building.The Principal Structural Engineer who successful secures this role will manage a team of engineers and technician and supervise more junior members of staff. The Principal Structural Engineer will attend client and design team meetings whilst being involved in the preparation of fee proposals and support on major bids. It is of great importance that the Principal Structural Engineer is involved in carrying out conceptual designs and planning the design process and also has direct involvement in business development activities.
