Mesa is seeking a highly motivated, detail oriented, knowledgeable principal engineer to head a renewable/data center focused transmission line group. The candidate must thrive in a fast paced environment and be willing to work overtime to deliver quality products on tight and possibly changing deadlines. Must be knowledgeable in the following: NESC and GO95 codes, electrical engineering principles and able to apply them to projects. Must be able to: learn Client standards and design philosophy quickly and implement on projects, guide potential Clients who are new to the renewable market, and design a transmission line to NESC or GO95 requirements without Client standards.

Responsibilities:

• Direct the design, execution, and provide construction support for renewable/data center projects.
• Work with a Team of engineers, designers, and technicians to complete transmission line projects.
• Work with other disciplines, i.e. substation, , to achieve a successful project.
• Monitor quality and make sure that the Mesa QA/QC procedure is followed for all projects.

Annual Salary Range:

$163,000-$194,000

The expected compensation is a range determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, and qualifications of the candidate, internal equity, work location, and hiring department’s fiscal resources.
