Principle Electrical Engineer

I am currently looking to speak with an engineer who will take up the position of Principle Electrical Engineer (Nuclear)  for a leading engineering company based in Manchester working on mixed carbon capture/hydrogen projects.

This is a hybrid role with 2 or 3 days based at the Manchester office

Salary:

£60,000 - £80,000 + Benefits + Hybrid

Primary Responsibilities:

Experience in Nuclear sectors

Strong knowledge of design practices and installation requirements across multiple industries

In-depth understanding of UK legislation and standards

Expertise in installing equipment in potentially explosive environments

Experienced in CE marking of equipment, including ATEX, PED, Low Voltage Directive, Machinery Directive, and EMC compliance

Committed to safety, risk management, and HSE requirements

Highly motivated and customer-focused

Strong communication skills, confident in engaging with colleagues and stakeholders

Proactive in personal development and continuous learning

Prioritizes safety and forward-thinking in all tasks

Qualifications:

• B.Sc. (Engineering ) with experience in EPC and major engineering companies
