Job Title: Principal Instrument & Control Engineer\n Location: London, UK (Hybrid – 2-3 days in office per week)\n Salary: Competitive + Bonus + Benefits\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are seeking a highly skilled Principal Instrument & Control Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team in London, working on cutting-edge carbon capture and hydrogen projects. This role offers the opportunity to be involved in projects from concept studies to detailed design, providing a varied and stimulating workload across Green Energy, Nuclear, and Oil & Gas sectors.\n\nThis is a hybrid role, with 2-3 days per week based in the London office.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nProvide technical expertise in instrumentation and control systems for projects and proposals.\n\nPrepare, review, and approve engineering documentation to ensure high-quality deliverables.\n\nAllocate work and manage discipline staff to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification.\n\nMentor and develop junior engineers and graduates within the team.\n\nEnsure compliance with industry regulations, /international standards, and company procedures.\n\nPrepare requisitions for control systems, safety systems, analyser houses, and field instrumentation.\n\nDevelop installation scopes of work and review supplier quotations.\n\nConduct technical bid assessments for instrumentation equipment.\n\nRequirements\n\nBSc in Engineering (Instrumentation, Control, or a related discipline).\n\nExperience working in EPC and major engineering environments.\n\nStrong knowledge of full project lifecycle from concept to detailed design.\n\nPrevious experience leading projects within the energy sector.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to take on a leadership role in a company that is driving innovation in sustainable energy solutions.\n\nIf you’re interested in learning more, please apply with your CV, and let’s arrange a time to discuss the opportunity in more detail
