Purpose and Scope:
The Printer Service Technician is responsible for the daily support of Laser and Multifunction Printer Fleet. This position is responsible for general maintenance, and printer technician support related tasks. The Printer Service Technician is responsible for thoroughly documenting all relevant information to the service request ticket in a database.
I. Requirement:
Education/Experience:
-High School diploma
-Proficiency in MS Windows
The candidate will possess the following:
- Motivated Self Starter with a “can do” attitude
- Field Service experience in a service role trouble shooting and repairing Laser and Multifunction Printers.
- Maintain an accurate spare equipment and parts inventory while providing updates to home office on a continuous basis
- Must have reliable transportation for daily travel to customer locations
- Work in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to update service tickets accurately in a timely fashion.
- Ability to read and comprehend written technical information in the form of technical manuals, parts books, and relevant publications.
- Interpersonal skills and professional verbal communication skills.
- A relatively high level of analytical ability to identify solutions to human, technical, or administrative problems.
- Basic knowledge of computer networks.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
- Perform other duties as directed.
