If these qualities describe you, we’d love for you to join Ingevity!The Process Engineer is responsible for developing and executing projects directed toward improving and optimizing existing processes, as well as new processes and products. This includes working with multiple groups to ensure projects are executed to meet SHE, corporate engineering and Wickliffe Plant compliance.How you will impact Ingevity:Scope, estimate and provide economic analysis for capital and non-capital projectsManage capital and non-capital projects to ensure budgets and schedules are properly metManage field installation of capital projects, including management of contractorsCollaborate with Operations group to identify process improvements and capital projects in support of the plant productivity, safety, environmental, maintenance, quality, and cost reduction objectivesSupport, coordinate, and lead efforts related to process safety (Hazop, PHA, PSSR, and MOC) and environmental complianceSupport Operations group to help improve reliability, utilization, yield, and efficiency of existing processesAssist Operations group with troubleshooting production problems related to processes, equipment, quality, and systemsBe active and engaged in the safety programs of the site to build and maintain a strong safety culture to achieve zero personal and process safety incidentsWhat you need to succeed:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical preferred)Proven experience in process and project engineering. Lean manufacturing, batch and continuous processing experience is highly desirableExcellent interpersonal relationship skills, problem solving/troubleshooting skills, and written/verbal communication skills requiredAbility to handle multiple simultaneous projectsAbility to work and communicate effectively with all levels of the organizationThe position is in a plant environment and travel is minimal (less than 10%)This role is eligible for relocation.This role is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship.
