Process Engineer

Additional Job Responsibilities:Optimize process or equipment in assigned areas by reducing costs or improving yields and troubleshooting problems in designated areasMake recommendations to resolve issues and work with Operations, Inspection, and Maintenance to optimize plant reliability and minimize unplanned outagesPlan and develop project ideas that are value-added working with other disciplines and groups to ensure projects are completed and provide maximum optimizationProvide technical support in planning and executing turnarounds and outagesEvaluate the scope of work from a process and mechanical standpoint and be available for equipment inspections, shutdowns, and startupsWork with Operations, Inspection, and Maintenance to assure the correct resolution is implemented to optimize plant profitability while reducing operating costsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Chemical EngineeringOne (1) – Eight (8) years of experience in the refining/petrochemical industryValid driver's license required
