Process Engineer

Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. Improvement: Key contributor in the RCPS process with role "Problem Solver". Investigate issues (production losses, quality problems, scrap, broken tools, safety risks, hazards, injuries, , problem-solve, and implement and verify solutions to eliminate recurrences. Project Implementation: Receive hands-offs from Engineering: Give input on engineering changes, assist with implementation, and confirm changes are complete and fully functional. Mentor: Teach and guide Improvement Specialists and others, both technically and with problem-solving, presentations, project management, systems, and documentation. Production support and permanent resolution: Assist resolving day-to-day production issues and follow up to eliminate the need for your involvement in similar future issues. Troubleshooting daily issues, fixing equipment, or giving advice / instructions may be called for, but should be at the direction of the Team Leader or Manager. BA in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent work experience CAD/CAM Knowledge G and M code programming GD&T experience (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) College preparation in engineering or Tool & Die or equivalent work experience.
