You model priority setting, manage the plan-do-check-adjust cycle and provide coaching and training for your team.How you will contributeWithout you, we could not deliver high-quality snacks to our customers. You will operate and maintain equipment to build technical mastery and to deliver on safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets, understanding losses in your area and taking the appropriate action to eliminate them. You will use autonomous and progressive maintenance standards to maintain equipment and support new product development. In this role, you will ensure that safety processes are observed, that quality assurance activities are performed and that resources are properly allocated and available during the shift. You will take the lead for shutdown maintenance, root-cause analysis, stops reductions loss analysis and breakdown elimination.What you will bringA desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:Autonomous maintenance (AM) Step 4 systems and progressive maintenance (PM) Step 3 systemsMaintaining equipment at basic conditions independently, including the execution of AM & PM (break-down maintenance, planned maintenance) standards on dedicated equipmentTotal productive maintenance and Six Sigma including qualification of AM steps 5-6, and PM step 3Leading line teamsHandling challenging interpersonal situations tactfullyInfluencing people in a union environmentCommunicating effectively verbally and in writing and good attention to detailMore about this roleEducation / Certifications:Bachelor's in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.LEAN Six Sigma certification an asset. Job specific requirements:Self-starter with the ability to prioritize, take ownership and deliver results against challenging performance indicators.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.Strong organizational, analytical, influence and negotiation skills.3 to 5 years of experience in Production, Process or Continuous Improvement roles within Food or Consumer Goods Manufacturing.Previous experience in Chocolate Manufacturing considered a strong asset.A disciplined profile is a key characteristic and some Project Management experience is desirable.Responsible for creating / validating /documenting home settings (centerlines) for equipment.Technical resource to assist operators in troubleshooting operational issues.Support productivity initiatives – CAPEX and Non CAPEX projects.Work with Ops Leads and Reliability to develop annual GE and Waste Glidepaths.Work schedule:Monday to Friday - Business Hours.
