Process Engineer

Our client in Warren, NJ is looking for a Direct Hire Process Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Support the development and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products, ensuring close integration of upstream and downstream steps, and implementing process automation and monitoring. 
• Specialize in the design and industrialization of production processes including a proper documentation of those.
• Have knowledge of the automation and data networking of production facilities. 
• Analyze ongoing production with regard to optimization potential and implement. In alliance with Sales, Application Engineers, and Sourcing.
• Develop and implement customer specific solutions, referred to as ‘non-standard inquires.

Requirements: 

• Minimum BS degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, materials engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electronics/interconnect, aerospace or other manufacturing industries requiring high-precision
• Experience in the field of manufacturing technologies such as soldering, pressing, milling, 3D-printing
• Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies and quality methods such as FMEA, SPC, APC, Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC and others
• Basic knowledge of Lean management
• ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 9100, IATF, ISO13485
