Location: Andover, Hampshire



Working hours: Monday-Thursday 08:30-17:00 Friday 08:30-15:30



Salary: Up to £40,000 (dependent on experience & qualifications)



Reporting to: Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Purpose of the role



An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Process Engineer to join our growing Power Electronics team. You will be primarily responsible for supporting the Engineers, with the design and development of manufacturing processes applicable to power electronics assemblies, including conceptualisation and development of tooling, fixtures and test equipment.



Primary duties & responsibilities



* To undertake early-stage product and process development in parallel with emerging technologies and configurations.



* To become familiar, progressing to expert, in production engineering manufacturing methods with hands-on build and testing of prototypes



* To support and maintain process set-up and verification activity across full development life-cycle, including measurement analysis and reporting.



* To apply and maintain quality and to optimise engineering processes and practices for the manufacturing of products in line with company and international quality standards.



* To provide professional and technical expertise and support the Power Electronics team to support customers and supply chain to meet department and company objectives.



* Develop professional and personal skills through education, training, and development within the team and externally



The ideal person will demonstrate the following:



* Degree level Qualified, within a relevant Engineering or Scientific discipline



* 1-2 years’ experience working in a Process Engineer role or similar



* Knowledge of manufacturing methods; automotive, motorsport or renewable power .



* Knowledge of CAD modelling and creating detail drawings (Solidworks )



* Excellent written and verbal communication skills



* Computer literate and adept with Microsoft office toolset
