Process Engineer

Job Objective: Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Engineer specializing in boiler process engineering, thermal design, and hydraulics calculation for water steam cycles and balance of plants. The ideal candidate should excel in performance calculations and optimization. Key Responsibilities: Engineering & Project Execution: Manage engineering activities, tendering, and project development for power/process projects. Ensure compliance with domestic/international codes and industry design standards. Document Review & Process Design: Review and prepare engineering documents such as process flow diagrams (PFD), P&IDs, IO lists, and BOQs. Develop and review process calculation reports, GA drawings, and equipment arrangements. Equipment & Piping Design: Perform design pressure and temperature calculations for equipment, valves, and piping. Detailed Engineering: Engage in project conceptualization, risk identification, mitigation, and power plant cycle enhancement. Prepare technical specifications and evaluate vendor offers. Coordination & Collaboration: Coordinate with customers, vendors, project managers, engineers, and sub-contractors to ensure project efficiency. Resolve design conflicts, fouling/overlap issues, and ensure timely updates to As-Built drawings. Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, 3D modeling, and Navisworks is mandatory. Team Management: Lead and manage a team of designers and draftsmen, ensuring timely delivery of project drawings. Collaborate closely with the parent company to maintain effective communication and progress tracking.
