Company DescriptionFiji Water is bottle at source in a world class facility with state of the art equipment located at Yaqara and is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons for the open positions.Job DescriptionThis role is responsible for analyzing, developing and implementing process improvements in the water treatment and bottling operations. This role aims to enhance efficiency, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and reduce operational costs.Analyze Current Processes: Evaluate existing water and wastewater treatment processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.Develop Improvement Plans: Create and implement strategies to optimize water and wastewater treatment, filtration and processing.Monitor Performance: Continuously monitor process performance and adjust as necessary to maintain optimal efficiency.Compliance and Safety: Ensure all processes comply with regulations, as well as company safety and quality standards.Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data to track the effectiveness of process improvements and identify further opportunities for enhancement.Training and Development: Provide training to staff on new processes and procedures to ensure successful implementation and adherence.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality control and production to implement process improvements.Documentation: Maintain detailed records of process changes, improvements and outcomes for future reference and reporting.Technical support and troubleshooting expertise: Resolve process-related issues and improve CIP adherence to plan and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).Sustainability: Explore and implement sustainable water treatment technologies and reuse strategies.Maintenance: Evaluate effectiveness of maintenance design in the system and collaborate with maintenance team and/or external vendor(s) for repairs and preventive maintenance.QualificationsBachelor of Engineering or equivalent in a related field5-10 years proven experience in process improvement, preferably in the water treatment or bottling industryAdvanced knowledge of control systems such as SCADA and PLCStrong analytical skills, proficiency in process improvement methodologies Lean, Six Sigma)FMCG experienceAble to work under minimum supervision and communicate effectively with senior leadershipExperience in creating strategic PowerPoint decksAdditional InformationIf you are keen to develop your career in an exciting business with a well-regarded brand, then this could be for you.Successful applicants must have an excellent work ethic, be self-motivated with proven problem-solving capabilities, able to meet the fast-paced nature of business demands with a “can-do” attitude, committed to delivering outputs in a timely manner, a team player, reliable, and work with minimal supervision; supports organisational philanthropic, corporate, and environmental initiatives, and models Company’s core values: Do What’s Right; Work Together; Nourish and Develop; Adapt and Grow.Please submit your applications through the link provided.FIJI Water thanks all potential applicants and advises that only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
