Process Engineer

Location: Bridgwater, Somerset

Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 per annum (Dependent on Experience)

Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am – 2:30pm

Holiday: 28 days including Bank Holidays + 3-day Christmas shutdown

Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent



Actio Recruitment is proud to be supporting our electronics manufacturing client in Bridgwater with their search for a Process Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to join a growing and forward-thinking business.



The Role:



As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, operation, and implementation of processes across the production facility. Your aim will be to improve efficiency, reduce costs, enhance sustainability, and drive profitability throughout the business.



Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and optimise manufacturing processes

Implement and maintain standard operating procedures



*



Use process simulations and engineering software to improve production methods



*



Evaluate processes to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations



*



Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams



*



Manage projects and continuous improvement initiatives



*



Provide support for new equipment introductions and upgrades



Requirements:



*



Proven experience as a Process Engineer in an electronics manufacturing environment



*



Familiarity with process simulation tools and engineering software



*



Proficient with CAD and AutoCAD



*



Strong analytical and technical skills



*



Ability to manage projects and communicate effectively across departments



*



Understanding of health and safety regulations
