Process Engineer - Die- - - - - - - - - - - -Process Engineer - Die is responsible for managing the design, development, production, and maintenance of extrusion dies for rubber products. This role involves overseeing a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring the efficient and accurate production of dies, and collaborating with other departments to meet production goals and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:1. Design and Development: - Lead the design and development of new extrusion dies for rubber products. - Use CAD software to create detailed designs and specifications. - Conduct simulations and tests to ensure die performance and product quality.2. Production Management: - Oversee the manufacturing process of extrusion dies, ensuring they meet design specifications and quality standards. - Manage a team of engineers and technicians involved in die production. - Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely and efficient production schedules.3. Quality Assurance: - Implement quality control procedures to ensure dies meet company and industry standards. - Conduct regular inspections and tests of dies and final products. - Address and resolve any quality issues or defects promptly.4. Maintenance and Troubleshooting: - Develop and implement maintenance schedules for extrusion dies to ensure longevity and optimal performance. - Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with dies during the production process. - Work with maintenance teams to perform repairs and modifications as needed.5. Collaboration and Communication: - Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines. - Communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal teams regarding die specifications and performance. - Provide technical support and training to team members and other departments.6. Continuous Improvement: - Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in die design and manufacturing technology. - Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and quality. - Lead or participate in projects aimed at reducing costs and improving productivity.QualificationGraduated Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Engineering (Tool & Die, Mechanical, Production, etc.)Experience at least 2 years in the field of process engineer or quality controlPreferable skills: Leadership, Problem-solving, Analytical, Communication, DigitalizationNative speaker of Thai with good English communication*Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
