Process Engineer (Polymer/Polyurethane)

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are looking for a Process Engineer with supervisory experience with Polymer/Polyurethane. Come join an amazing team.
Responsible for:
• Follow all general safety regulations and use provided safety equipment as
required. See JSA & PDA for this position for details safety instructions.
• Understand ISO 9001 requirements and Policies. Always follow work
instructions and procedures as established through set policies.
• Modify existing reporting systems for new methods, new material specifications
and new products
• Create new machinery and process systems
• Implement process improvements
• Write and update standard operating procedures
• Train personnel
• Develop and modify foam formulations that meet customer and organization
expectations
• Keep area neat, organized and clean as well as follow 5S principles as they are
appropriate.
• Cross train in other positions as required.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed by the employee’s supervisor.
• Review KPI metrics such as yield and scrap reportsRequires a degree in chemical or mechanical engineering or at least 5 years manufacturing
experience, preferably some in the polymer industry.
