Job Title: In-Process Inspector
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 w/ experience
Hours: 3rd shift 3:45pm - 12:15am OT as needed, must be flexible with hours
Position Type: TTH

Job Duties:
Conducts start-up inspection, in-process inspection, and final audit approvals based on engineering drawings, instructions, and company specifications. Maintains required quality records (Inspection Reports, nonconforming material documents etc.). Performs capability studies. Maintains statistical control charts. Assists in the facilitation of corrective actions. Isolates suspect materials, and attaches the appropriate identifying tag or document. Conducts shift change meetings, to address quality and production issues.
Quality Responsibilities: Assists and trains all hourly personnel in dimensional measurement and visual criteria. Assists operators with implementation of statistical control charts. Must be involved in quality activities and participate on quality improvement teams.Completes all quality training required by the company. Submits quality improvement ideas. Inspects the product at their assigned workstation and informs the shift supervisor of any nonconformances observed. Separates and quarantines the non-conforming product from new production. Must be aware of and follow all safety procedures. Assures that nonconforming materials are properly identified and isolated.
Qualification Requirements:
Must understand engineering prints/specifications, use measurement devices, and have a basic knowledge of quality assurance principles. Must possess basic math, writing, reading skills and basic Excel knowledge. High School graduate and one year of inspection experience. Bilingual (English-Spanish) .
