Process Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

Handley James have been retained to search for an experienced Process Maintenance Engineer for one of our key clients. An industry leading expert, part of a £multimillion, global business with sites worldwide. You will look into and improve the process of the engineering equipment and effluent plant, as well as supporting the maintenance team to improve equipment reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and update all process documentation
  • Provide cost effective solutions to repetitive issues within the ETP
  • Carry out daily checks and inspections
  • Carry out and complete RCA on machine breakdowns and downtime
  • Carry out fault finding, repair and maintenance within the Effluent Plant
  • Complete all PPM work on time and in accordance with the PPM schedule
  • Guide and train engineering apprentices as and when required
  • Support projects and improvements on the plant

Candidate Requirements

  • Engineering qualification to a minimum of level 3 (Mechanical, Electrical or Automation)
  • Experience working within a production environment/process industry
  • Ideally have previous experience and knowledge of water treatment plants (Not essential)
  • Good understanding of health and safety
  • Good understanding of risk assessments and method statements
  • HMI & PLC control understanding
  • Writing of SOP

This is a site based role based in Bradford, working 37.5 hours Monday – Friday on days with flexible work times i.e. 0600–1400, 0700–1500, 0800-1600 etc. to fit around you.

In return our client is offering c£35,000pa, bonus and benefits.
