Job Description

Blue Arrow is recruiting Process Operatives to work for a well-established and growing waste management company based in Leyland and Thornton.

\n

Pay: £12.00 per hour.

\n

Overtime Monday to Saturday paid at £18.00 per hour for hours worked over 37.5 hours and £24.00 per hour on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

\n

Shift: Monday to Friday

\n

6.15am -2.15pm / 2pm - 10pm shifts on weekly rotation

\n

Location: Leyland - PR26

\n

JOB ROLE:

\n

\n
• Perform on-site waste processing.

\n

• Sorting waste from a conveyor that could cause blockages.

\n

• Housekeeping and general cleaning of your work area.

\n

• Providing hands on support as required for all business functions of waste processing operations.

\n

• Maintaining health and safety around the site.

\n

• Ability to work in an environment with foul odours, dust and dirt.

\n

\n

The roles are temp to perm for the right candidates with superb benefits for permanent colleagues including:

• Death in service cover at 4 times basic salary

\n

• Pension matched up to 5%

\n

• Sickness paid up to 20 weeks and increasing to 26 weeks from 1st January 2025

\n

\n

• 34 days (inclusive of bank holidays) holiday increasing to 38 days (inclusive of bank holidays) with length of service.
