Process Production Engineer

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionØ Responsible for safe and efficient operation a chemical production unit Ø Monitor plant operation, product yields, manufacturing costs, and operating activity and feed information into month end closingØ Track monthly inventory and raw material usage to complete and submit Month End ReportØ Provide technical assistance to operators and recommend improvementsØ Duties include troubleshooting process plant operating problems, product quality, equipment reliability and safety dataØ Assist with incident investigations using root cause analysis and develop solutions to prevent recurrencesØ Analyze process information and develop recommendations for improving the process, participate in plant trials, participate in process design & capital project implementationØ Review project documents to ensure technical feasibility and ease of operation Ø Provide process knowledge to Maintenance or Project Engineering personnel to aid in the specification and/ or maintenance of process equipment, instruments and controlsØ Responsible for process and equipment changes and Management of Change process for the unit, specifically with creating MOCs and completing Design Safety ReviewsØ Write and revise Standard Operating Procedures.
