Process Safety Engineer As an Engineer in the petrochemical sector, you play a leading role in the design, development and improvement of a plant and you work closely together on the largest projects. Together with a team of experts, you will provide efficient and sustainable solutions that meet the highest standards. Responsibilities The role of Process Safety Engineer consists in: Support the implementation and improvements on PSM framework and Procedures Collaborate in audit of process safety management. LOPC classification, safety performance indicators monitoring, report and trend analysis. Support on LOPC Investigation. Follow up of Process Safety Investigations actions. Development of PSM trainings. Application of internal and external standards and requirements (e.g. IOGP, API, Energy institute, etc.). Requirements STAR is looking for applicants with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (or related field) with previous experience in Process Engineering or Process Safety Engineering. Furthermore, you are, or you have: Process Engineering and/or Process Safety background, minimum 3 year’s experience. Familiarity with Safety Management Systems. Good analytical capabilities. Effective communication throughout all organization levels. Innovative and collaborative nature. Travel as international business travels may be required.
