Due to continued growth, we are seeking an Supply Chain Procurement Analyst. This role requires you to be based within a commutable distance to our Upminster, with the possibility of working from home when not onsite.
You’ll be supporting the Procurement team with management of Suppliers and Subcontractors data to improve compliance with Arcus processes and procedures. You will be part of a team of 3 Analyst’s reporting into the Senior Procurement Manager.
- Accountable for the full on-boarding new suppliers / sub-contractors through Logicgate.
- Accountable for maintaining all supplier databases including any departmental records and ensure all segmentation tiering, client controls are accurate.
- Accountable for the monitoring and proactive reporting of Supply Chain Risk matrix (Scorecard)
- Accountable for monitoring and proactive reporting of Alcumus Safe Contractor accreditation.
- Accountable for uploading of Supplier price books / rate cards to ensure minimal invoice issues.
- Accountable for identifying supplier/service provider improvements that are required to assist in its continuous development and progression.
- Supporting the Consolidation through management of Sub contractor Matrix / Spend Analysis
It will be a challenging role and one that will require continuously improving, e.g. you could possibly have a process aligned but further down you realise it’s not as efficient. With your ability to step back and revisit this, you’ll use your strategic, analytical mind and perseverance to create a more robust streamlined process which will make all future growth scalable.
You’ll also be providing support to the Supply Chain team and other office operation teams at all levels with supplier/service provider issues and escalations.
You’ll be self-motivated, driven, disciplined and determined to succeed in this role.
A good understanding and experience of working with and managing suppliers, coupled with a strong analytical background and a good understanding of Excel. It’s essential you’ve gained experience with working with both field engineers and suppliers.
