Are you a Category Manager or Procurement Manager with a background in the Waste Management Category looking for an exciting new career move within a UK-leading Food Manufacturing business? Are you looking for a leadership role where you can utilise your Procurement experience and develop your career by sharing knowledge and developing others?

This business have 21 sites across the UK with specialisms spanning chicken, ready meals, pizza, soups, sauces and baked goods, and are now looking for a Category Manager to support their Waste Management function which is an important part of their successful operation. You will have the opportunity to progress within a business known for it's internal promotions and succession planning structure.

Your Role:

- Responsible for Cost-Saving, Associated Risk & Market Performance
- Implementing & Developing Procurement Strategies
- Ensure Legislative & Regulatory Compliance across Waste
- Manage Supplier Relationships and Sourcing of key Products and Technologies
- Developing a team of 2 including one Buyer and one Administrator

What We Are Looking For:

- Proven background in Procurement or Category Management
- Knowledge of the Waste Management sector or category is highly advantageous
- Experience of managing a team is advantageous but not essential
- Knowledge of developing Category & Procurement strategies
