Procurement Manager- Responsibilities Include
- Inspect daily purchasing activities for areas that need improvement and promote high performance. Create your own initiatives to promote sustainability, increase your procurement staff in pace with business expansion, and guarantee that SLAs are satisfied for orders.
- To ensure compliance with laws and internal regulations, evaluate and improve the company's standards for purchasing activities, including a robust RFQ process.
- Build a culture of long-term cost savings on procurement through managing spending and achieving cost savings. Create lasting connections with your key suppliers while keeping an eye on and improving performance and contractual conditions.
- Maintain a supplier agreement and improve our database of suppliers in accordance with the demands and projections of the present business.
- To generate and maintain an accurate estimate of stock and take into account the impact of anticipated changes, identify sales demands and necessary materials.
- Create and maintain productive working connections with internal and external stakeholders, making sure that you have a firm grasp of the requirements for the overall business to promote departmental efficiencies.
- Examine the validity of the quotes and provide your approval for the transaction.
- Oversee the upkeep of purchasing records, including suppliers, POs, and requests, as well as trend analysis and reporting.
- Create ideas based on the analysis of procurement reports to reduce spending and support authorised activities.
- Lead the procurement team by performing all line management tasks, setting an example for outstanding performance, and supporting ongoing development.
- Provide a comprehensive set of reports that includes supplier performance, ordering timeframes against SLAs, and savings against targets.
