Procurement Manager
As the Procurement Manager you will be responsible for procurement across Frontier's operations in Cambridge, UK reporting directly to the Head of Financial Operations. You'll work closely with your dedicated team to optimise spending across the business and ensure the smooth running of day-to day operations.
The Procurement function works primarily on indirect spend, supporting a broad range of activities across my clients development, publishing and operational functions, with major spend areas including technology and IP licences, IT hardware and software, outsource services, facilities, recruitment and marketing.
The Procurement team works collaboratively together and with all departments; this role in particular works closely with multiple senior internal stakeholders across the business, including the Executive Team, Department Heads, Game Directors and Budget Holders.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Procurement team, including line management of Procurement Specialists.
Identifying and delivering tangible results through cost reduction and service performance.
Working with the Head of Financial Operations in managing overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of procurement for the organisation.
Manage supplier on-boarding process to ensure the most appropriate and competitive suppliers are being used.
Reviewing and assisting with Requests For Proposals (RFPs) to ensure the best outcomes for Frontier's procurement efforts.
Regularly reviewing procedures and processes to ensure control, compliance, and efficiency across the Procurement function.
Liaising regularly with key company stakeholders to ensure that you are always aware, at the earliest stage possible, of their product and service needs.
Providing additional support and expertise to the Procurement Specialists in respect of licencing renewals and managing external talent negotiations.
Assisting with high value contract renewals, including the review of commercial terms and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Responsible for the preparation of monthly reports to be used by the Board and other internal stakeholders.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Demonstrable experience and track record in leading successful procurement efforts, preferably with experience in managing a team.
Broad procurement experience with particular emphasis on indirect procurement.
CIPS qualified
Strong negotiation skills, and able to challenge costs when appropriate.
Positive and solutions based approach to handling requests and tasks.
Excellent communication skills, and able to build and maintain trusted relationships with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers and vendors.

Experience of working in the tech sector, or games or entertainment industries.
