We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join our growing team in Charlotte, NC.

About the role

The Procurement Manager is responsible for developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective. Also, sourcing and engaging dependable suppliers and vendors.

Responsibilities:

• Work in conjunction with leadership to negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms
• Maintains records for correspondence and documentation in relation to established contracts and those in progress
• Communicates and presents information to stakeholders about all contract-related matters
• Reviews existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure ongoing feasibility
• Builds and maintains long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Overall manages organizational spend by maximizing vendor value while minimizing risk by following standard practices and processes
• Controlling the Procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving
• Reviews purchase details and approves purchase requests and purchase orders
• Develops, reviews, and implements procurement policies for effectiveness and compliance, and to ensure the business's return on investment
• Inventory Management, Supplier Selection & relationship management, solution, and product research
• Resolves any supplier issues
• Establish strong relationships with suppliers, maintain clear communication, stay informed on market trends, ensure partners and suppliers are happy with agreements monitors performance, and able to identify areas for improvement without risking existing partnerships
• Other duties as assigned
