Procurement Manager – Construction Fit Out



Location: Swansea



Salary: £40,000 - £50,000



Duties & Responsibilities



* Source and purchase materials, equipment, and services, ensuring cost-effective procurement and timely delivery.



* Negotiate contracts, prices, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure the best value and maintain strong relationships.



* Monitor expenditures and ensure purchases align with budget constraints and project goals.



* Ensure purchased materials meet required specifications and standards.



* Assist with tender processes and negotiate favourable terms with suppliers and subcontractors.



Requirements



* Proven experience in a Buyer / Buying / Tendering / Estimator / Estimating role, ideally in the shop fitting, retail fit-out, or construction sectors.



* Strong understanding of the retail industry, including client needs, project lifecycles, and industry regulations.



* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships and close deals.



* Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously, with strong organizational and time-management skills.



* Proficiency in project management tools and CRM systems, along with a solid grasp of budgeting, forecasting, and financial management.
