Procurement Specialist (Electrical Components)

Job DescriptionJob Description

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing the sourcing, purchasing, and inventory control of materials and equipment. This role also requires deep understanding of the electric components market, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing from suppliers. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate suppliers for electrical parts and utility components.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Execute purchase orders and contracts in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate & collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure timely procurement of materials.
• Analyze pricing trends and market dynamics to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Implement cost-effective strategies without compromising quality or performance.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management specifically in Electric parts and electric utility purchasing.
• Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
