Job Title: Procurement & Supply Chain Improvement Lead

Salary: Circa £50,000 depending on experience

Location: Stevenage (Relocation package may be available)

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: Hybrid (2-3 days per week on-site)

Security Clearance: British or Dual UK with British citizenship. Candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS).



About the Role:

Are you a seasoned improvement practitioner with a strong background in Procurement and Supply Chain? We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Business Solutions & Improvement Officer to join a dynamic team and lead transformative initiatives that enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead the identification, development, and implementation of functional improvements within Procurement and Supply Chain.

Project manage tools and processes to support procurement activities.

Develop and implement new policies and processes, providing training and communication to relevant teams.

Oversee improvement projects, including resilience assessment processes and data analysis.

Promote best practices and drive efficiency through continuous measurement and evaluation.

Collaborate across functions to drive procurement and supply chain excellence.

Create and deliver training materials to support system improvements and project management.

What We're Looking For:



Broad experience in Procurement and Supply Chain roles.

Proven track record in delivering improvements in a complex matrix organisation.

Strong analytic and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Excellent organisational and project management abilities.

Knowledge of SAP and Ivalua is advantageous.

Experience with industrial bench-marking and best practice promotion.
